REIGNITE YOUR CREATIVITY
“My Paintings are visual poems, informed by Nature and my personal experience of Life”
“Because my work is not literal, not an exact place or thing, my audience tends to be made up of people who are capable of interpreting life in different ways. I think of my work as being like a visual poem. It’s the accuracy of a feeling, not the accuracy of representation that I am interested in. When I have had the opportunity to meet the people who collect my work, I almost always find we share similar outlooks on life. They tend to have a desire to surround themselves with things that remind them of the uniqueness and wonder of their own lives and the underlying poetry in the everyday.”

SHARING IDEAS ABOUT CREATIVITY, PASSION AND TRANSFORMATION
“Thanks for saying what I needed to hear today, being a gallery artist can add an element of fear that is not my favorite thing ….because this wild creative force running through me sooooo simply needs to be liberated to play! Thanks for reminding me it’s okay” – blog subscriber
I have a very deep appreciation for all those who collect my work. The collectors enable and add momentum to my creative arc as an artist. My work is not just a dialogue with myself, but hopefully will resonate with others as well. It is deliberately open ended, more obtuse for this very reason. I want it to be reinterpreted, incorporated into the experiences and personal stories of others. My art is my most honest answer, my most conscious effort that I can contribute.
“I can’t tell you how much I LOVE my painting. It makes me happy every time I see it. Sometimes Steve and I just stand in front of it and find new things to fall in love with – it’s like treasure hunting.” Brene Brown- researcher and NY Times best selling author of “Daring Greatly”
