I just moved, and in the process of going through all my things I came across an old painting of mine. I remember after completing the piece I thought it was quite good – I liked the composition, the colors, the brush strokes – I was very pleased with what I had made.
But after bringing this piece into my studio and putting it next to my newer work, I quickly saw just how far I’ve progressed as a painter.
